We are looking to add owner operators with flatbed experience for freight we have available throughout Texas.
We are currently looking for an owner operator for a postition that averages about $4,000/wk (O/O receives 80% of truck revenue).
Details
- We are a Texas only carrier so O/O will have regular hometime. Weekends off (unless O/O wishes to run). Also can get you back home during the week.
- We will provide you with a 48' or 53' flatbed trailer if you do not have your own trailer.
- Flexible home time.
- Discount FleetOne Fuel card provided. Fuel discounts at Pilots, Flying J's and Stripes fuel stations.
- Owner operator compensation is a percentage of the truck's gross income. 80% if using our trailer (plus $100/wk trailer usage fee for trailer).
- If insurance is needed, we can set you up with that as well.
- Weekly settlements paid on every Wednesday with full detailed reports showing every load run for that pay period.

Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts (ELD provided)
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills
- Proven work experience as a flatbed truck driver
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (ELD, GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
- Ability to use email and texting
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid CDL truck driving license
